Signature Events

The Greater Washington Board of Trade’s events provide regional executives opportunities to exchange ideas, make new connections and maintain business relationships.

Annual Meeting (January)
Since 1889, the Board of Trade has gathered Greater Washington’s business community to advance an agenda that is good for business and the community. The Annual Meeting features both business and elected leaders, convening to recognize the previous year’s accomplishments and looking ahead to the upcoming year.

Mid-Winter Dinner (February/March)
The Board of Trade’s Mid-Winter Dinner is an annual event that is widely regarded as one of the premier business events of the year. This black-tie, member-only gala attracts top business and community leaders as well as regional elected officials. Attendees include senior executives of large and mid-sized member companies, entrepreneurs and heads of small companies, civic and not-for-profit community leaders, elected officials and members of the media. (members and invited guests only)

Fall Business Classic
After the traditional Washington summer break, member companies of the Board of Trade reestablish important acquaintances at the Fall Business Classic. This event brings together over 400 senior business, association and civic leaders from throughout the region for a reception of elegant food and beverage, solid networking and old fashioned deal-making. (members only and invited guests only)
