Apex Home Loans Named One of the Top 100 Mortgage Companies in America

(March 26, 2013, Bethesda, MD) -- Apex Home Loans, Inc. is proud to announce that they have been named one of the Top 100 Mortgage Companies in America for 2012 by Mortgage Executive Magazine. The list represents the nation’s top 100 independent mortgage companies as well as those that are bank owned or affiliated.

Rankings are by total yearly mortgage volume and Apex reported volume was just below $600 million in residential home loans. According to the magazine, the list “recognizes and celebrates the service, dedication, and hard work that mortgage originators, managers, and executives put into building their companies and serving their clients.”

Apex’s CEO Craig Strent and Senior Mortgage Banker David Messineo were also named to the list of the Top 200 Mortgage Originators in America. Strent, who has been on the list for the last decade, had a loan volume of nearly $114,000,000 and was ranked #89 on the list. Messineo originated approximately $51,000,000 in loan volume with 119 loans. This ranks Messineo in the top 1% of loan originators in America.

Apex Home Loans is celebrating its 15th year and this is the first time the company has been recognized among the top 100 mortgage companies in America. Started in a hallway in 1998, the company now staffs over 60 employees and lends in excess of $50 million per month to local homeowners and home buyers.
