Capital Region Transportation Forum: Mobilizing for Action
About This Event
The Capital Region, which stretches from Baltimore to Washington and Richmond, is home to 10.2 million residents and is expected to grow by 20 percent in the next 20 years. This projected growth will undoubtedly strain an already overburdened and congested transportation system. Finding and implementing solutions is paramount to our economic growth and prosperity. The region recently succeeded in coming together to provide dedicated funding for the Metro system, but this only scratches the surface of current and future needs. Still, this historic success shows that when we work together, anything is possible.
The 2018 Capital Region Transportation Forum: Mobilizing for Action, hosted by the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Greater Washington Partnership, will bring together transportation leaders and innovators to discuss how to ensure integrated improvements are realized so that transportation works for everyone, for years to come.
